You can now tell what someone is holding just by how they stand and move. Characters adopt a distinct stance and distinct walk, run, and idle animations based on the weapon in their hands — and humanoid NPCs do too.
- 0.6.3.57 — Landed weapon-aware locomotion using Unreal's Linked Anim Layers, the system that swaps animation sets based on your equipped weapon.
- 0.6.3.59–0.6.3.60 — Filled in the per-stance animation sets and resolved a stance-aware montage issue, plus a male-character T-pose fix.
- 0.6.3.73 — Completed additional locomotion animation phases for smoother blending between stances.
- 0.6.3.76 — Finished the pass by unblocking the crossbow and spear stances, so every weapon type has its own movement feel.
