The last quarter of 2024 was all about bringing the world to life. We started with the party system — team up with friends, see their health and status, and take on tougher challenges together. Invite players, pass leadership, and share loot fairly. Some fights are just too tough to face alone.
The world got smarter with level zones and safe areas. Different regions now have level recommendations, monsters respect zone boundaries, and safe zones around towns disable combat entirely. You can finally rest, trade, and socialize without fear of being ambushed. Respawn points are tied to zones, so you always come back near where you fell.
Then came the NPC system. For the first time, you could talk to characters in the world through a full dialog system with multiple choices. NPCs have voiced lines, and the first NPC — a Viking character — was ready to greet you. We also built Ciliora Village with houses, shops, winding streets, lighting crystals that glow at night, and beautiful beach bays on the outskirts.
To tie it all together, we overhauled the chat system with system messages for damage dealt, XP gained, and death notifications. Chat now works seamlessly during combat, and a scrollable history lets you catch up on anything you missed. The world wasn't just a battleground anymore — it was a living place with people, stories, and a village to call home.
