The Chef profession is open for business. Twelve new craftable items across two tiers, beehive lootables in the woods, and recipe books dropping from chests across the world.
New ingredients
- Flour — ground from 5× Wheat Stalk, yields 5. The base of every baked dish.
- Bread — Flour + Cooking Tool Kit. Snack on its own or use it as the base for Choripan.
- Flavoured Bread — Flour + Herb + Tool Kit. Herbal bread with a stronger restorative kick.
- Blood Sausage — Creature Meat + Creature Blood + Flour. Nordic-style filling that goes into Choripan.
- Crab Meat — gathered from coastal lootables.
- Honey — gathered from the new beehive lootables that have started appearing in wooded areas around Ciliora village.
New dishes
- Choripan — Blood Sausage + Bread + Charcoal + Tool Kit. Char-grilled Nordic street food.
- Crab Stew — 2× Crab Meat + Ginger Root + 2× Herb + 2× Sunbloom Petal + Charcoal + Tool Kit. Heartiest meal in the new lineup.
- Honey Cake — 2× Flour + 2× Herb + Charcoal + Tool Kit. Sweet and restorative.
- Meat Empanada — Creature Meat + Flour + Herb + Charcoal + Tool Kit. Seasoned meat in dough.
- Smoked Meat Platter — 2× Creature Meat + Honey + 2× Herb + 2× Charcoal + Tool Kit. Premium meat dish.
- Energizing Tonic — 2× Ginger Root + Honey + Tool Kit. A drink that briefly boosts stamina regen.
Seared Meat Steak and Bogbrew Ale have moved under the Chef profession’s recipe set (recipes relearned automatically if previously known).
Beehives in the woods
Approach a hive (you’ll know it from the swarming bee VFX), interact, and harvest Honey — required for Honey Cake, Smoked Meat Platter, and Energizing Tonic. Hives respawn on a timer like other gathered nodes. New beehive spawn points have also been placed around ZipIsland’s wooded areas. We tightened SmartSpawner volume coverage on ZipIsland honey trunks specifically so honey appears reliably across the zone.
Recipe book drops
Chests across the world (including the upgraded Smithing Tier-1 chest table) now have a chance to drop chef recipe books across five categories:
- Dessert — Honey Cake
- Drinks — Energizing Tonic, Bogbrew Ale
- Ingredients — Bread, Flour, Blood Sausage, Flavoured Bread
- Main — Smoked Meat Platter, Crab Stew, Meat Empanada
- Snack — Choripan, Seared Meat Steak

How to start cooking
Buy a basic Cooking Tool Kit from Branoc (whose stock has been refreshed with seed ingredients for fresh chefs), find a Chef Recipe Book lootable, unlock the recipe, gather ingredients, walk up to a Crafting Station, and craft.
A broad lootable-asset tuning pass also went in across honey and multiple chest categories to make in-world drops more consistent.
