This is the big one. In September 2024, we officially renamed the project from "Tales of Lumeria" to Clash of Adventurers. The new name captures exactly what the game is about — epic battles between adventurers in a living world. New icon, new branding, same ambition but bolder than ever.
The engine got another upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.4, bringing multi-server map support and smoother performance across the board. On the combat side, we unlocked entirely new paths: magic skills let you unleash elemental fury, while archer skills bring ranged combat to life with precise, powerful shots. Every new skill came with unique visual effects and animations.
We added shields and dual wielding — block incoming attacks or go all-in with two weapons for maximum damage. Primary and secondary weapon slots give you real tactical flexibility. The entire UI was redesigned from scratch: cleaner, modern, and easier to navigate on any screen resolution.
On the economy side, a proper gold system arrived with detailed item tooltips, quantity-based trading, and improved inventory management. We also introduced new monsters and expanded the game master tools for better world management. The project renamed to Clash of Adventurers and the game master panel both arrived in this window.
This update marked the moment the project found its identity. Not just a tech demo or a prototype, but a game with a name, a vision, and the systems to back it up.
