April brought a sweeping pass on inventory, trading, and interaction UX — the kinds of small things you stop noticing once they're right. The biggest changes:
- Unified drag-and-drop modifiers — across inventory, containers, and recycling: hold Ctrl to move one, hold Shift to move the whole stack, drop with no modifier to be asked "how many?".
- Dedicated keys for trade and party-invite — T sends a trade request, P sends a party invite to the player you're looking at. E stays as the world-interaction key.
- Tool auto-swap on gather — try to gather with a full inventory and the wrong tool equipped, and the right tool now swaps into your hand instead of failing.
Full list
- 0.6.1.4 — Fixed a bug where the mouse cursor snapped to the center of the screen when switching between tabs in the Settings menu.
- 0.6.2.1 — Reliability improvements to the "how many?" quantity prompt used across trading, recycling, and the new item container system.
- 0.6.2.2 — Dropping items onto a container in your inventory now respects the amount you chose — no more being stuck moving one at a time.
- 0.6.2.3 — You can now drag items out of open containers back into your inventory — plus a unified modifier convention for all container drops.
- 0.6.2.4 — Item drag-and-drop now behaves the same everywhere: hold Ctrl to move one, hold Shift to move the whole stack, or drop with no modifier to be asked how many. Trade receipts also now show a tidy multi-line summary.
- 0.6.2.9 — Dragging an item onto a full container now tells you why it didn't work instead of silently refusing the drop.
- 0.6.2.10 — Fixed an issue where gathering a resource would fail with a "You need an … to …" message if your inventory was full and you had a weapon (or wrong tool) equipped. The correct tool now auto-swaps into your hand, displacing the previous weapon into the tool's former slot.
- 0.6.2.11 — Swapping to a different weapon or tool while gathering now correctly stops the action.
- 0.6.2.18 — Fixed Recipe Books (and other item containers) rendering with no visible slots after you put something inside.
- 0.6.2.20 — Trade requests and party invites now have their own dedicated keys (T to trade, P to party-invite) instead of sharing the interact key.
- 0.6.2.25 — Smoother and more consistent pickup animation, plus retuned drop visuals when items appear in the world.
- 0.6.2.28 — The quantity-prompt dialog (used when depositing/withdrawing/splitting stacks) is now properly wired up, and several shared UI buttons have new artwork.
